Steve Evanow has built extensive cabinetry for three of our homes and also for my father's home. In each project, he reviewed the floor plans, had a design meeting, and did a flawless installation. We used different types of wood from madrone to myrtlewood to cherry.
Steve not only built custom, solid wood kitchen cabinets with the latest pull out drawers, corner lazy susans, wood fronts for refrigerators and dishwasher, etc., but also appliance garages on the countertops for small appliances. He also built computer desk furniture with an elaborate return which was a comfortable fit for my very tall husband.
At one point, we needed a complex, stand-alone entertainment center that would match the previous cabinets he had built for us. It turned out perfectly and was an exact match!
In our last home, Steve built a built-in entertainment center featuring adjustable shelves, glass upper and lower doors. His ability to match wood patterns is excellent, and the wood finish is super durable, so important for kitchen cabinets.

In October of 2010 Rumiano Cheese Company approached Steve Evanow with a challenging task of creating a durable, long-lasting cabinet for its laboratory. The Rumiano Cheese Company’s laboratory has to be extremely sanitary, and the cabinets have to be able to sustain a fair amount of chemicals and water on a daily basis. Steve came down to the plant looked at the old cabinets and witnessed some of the issues with the water and chemicals getting on the wood. He took measurements and gave us a bid within a day, along with a computer drawing of the cabinets and how they would look inside the laboratory. After we accepted the bid, Steve came back and gave us a projected delivery and install date, which he met without an issue. He was willing to come install the cabinets after hours and worked with our production schedule, which was necessary due to the sanitation issues. Steve and his employee Sean came and removed the old laboratory cabinets, and began to replace them right away. The new cabinets are extremely durable and were installed in a timely and professional manner. Rumiano Cheese Company is very pleased with the job Steve and Sean did and will use Evanow's Cabinets again for future projects.
